Although from the previous version of the NIV, this is not an issue for my team, who are not highly skilled yet. It does bring the narrative to life, and seems to really increase understanding of the sequence of events and how they are related to other events. Youth are relatively skilled in picking up the plot of a movie, and less so at deducing it from the written word. So it really helps in that way. Also, the acting is reasonably good, and often catches the spirit of what is going on, which may not stand out when reading.

This movie is the entire book of Acts word for word. It shows how Christianity was spread after Jesus returned to heaven. I liked the way the story of Saul/Paul was portrayed. Unlike others I think all the actors did a fantastic job including Peter. Also I think there were enough background actors. Awesome movie.

I never thought that seeing a movie which followed faithfully a book would make such a difference. But it does. Its a brand new experience to read the Acts in one go. Its great!
